Terms of Use - Duo Display

1. Purpose

These terms set the conditions for using the Duo Display iOS app and the Duo Display Mac app (the "App") provided by BYJW.Studio (the "Company"). By installing and using the App you agree to these terms.

2. The service

The App lets you use your iPhone as an extended display for your Mac.

The Mac app sends your Mac screen to the iPhone, and the iPhone app displays it
Your Mac needs macOS 15 or later and your iPhone needs iOS 18 or later
The App has no account or sign-in. Data handling follows the Privacy Policy
This version only shows the screen. Features may change or grow in later updates

3. Your responsibilities

Use the App only on a Mac and an iPhone you are authorized to use
The App sends your screen over the network without encryption. You are responsible for using it only on trusted networks or over a cable
Passwords, personal information, or other people's information may appear on screen, so take care with your surroundings and what is displayed
Do not use the App for unlawful purposes, reverse engineer or tamper with it, or redistribute or use it commercially without the Company's consent

4. Changes and discontinuation

The Company may change the App's features or stop providing it. An installed App can keep working, but later updates and support may not be provided. Changes in macOS or iOS may also stop some features from working.

5. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose or operation in every environment
The Company is not liable for data loss, device malfunction, display lag or stutter, or indirect damages arising from use of the App. This does not apply where the Company acted intentionally or with gross negligence
Problems caused by your network environment or conflicts with other software are not covered

6. Intellectual property

Rights to the App itself and its name, icon, and design belong to the Company. Rights to the content shown on the screen belong to their respective owners.

7. App Store

The iPhone app is provided through the Apple App Store. Apple's terms and policies also apply to purchases and refunds.

8. Changes to these terms

The Company may change these terms and will post the updated text and date on this page. If you keep using the App after a change, you agree to the changed terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes related to use of the App are handled by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
